A boutique letterpress studio tucked away in the Adelaide city fringe.
We have been graphic designers for over 20 years with a passion for typography and all things beautiful. The art of letterpress is just that - an art, which is why we are so in love with it! We are perfectionists in all we do and always, always pay attention to detail.
Our collection of antique presses are impressive and each one has its own character! We have travelled the country obtaining these machines and each one has its own special adoption story.
Letterpress is very bespoke so invitations are individually designed to suit each couple. They are as unique as you are. The machinery and paper are environmentally sound. Machines use little energy (some machines are hand driven) making them a “green option” for your wedding.
By choosing us you will become part of our Letterpress enclave and the end result will leave you breathless and wanting more.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions and advice on anything to do with invitations or your wedding in general, we are here to help you all the way to the aisle.
Thank you for taking the time to view our website and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
When should I contact Love Letter Press?
Usually about 4 months prior to the Big Day.
The earlier the better as that gives us more time to work on them we are after all perfectionistas!
If you do not have that amount of time, do not rule us out. The general rule of thumb is to send out invitations six to eight weeks before, but only you know your guests and how much planning will have to go into them attending; remember that out-of-town guests need time to make work and travel arrangements.
Save-the-date cards are typically sent a year to six months in advance and are a great way of giving your guests plenty of notice. These are especially useful if your wedding is on a holiday weekend, you are having a destination wedding, or for guests who are coming from interstate and overseas.
Can you match fabric colours?
Yes of course, we can closely match your bridesmaids fabric or colour within your wedding theme.
Can you help us with the wording of our stationery?
Of course, we do it all the time! Don't forget you could include a quote or poem if that resonates with your theme.
Can I personalise each invitation?
Your stationery is printed using customised plates, so to print individual guests names is cost prohibitive.
There are many options to individualise your invitations and this will be decided upon during the design process.
How much does it cost?
Each job is unique and pricing will depend on many things such as quantity, size and number of colours, therefore we always provide a quote prior to starting.

On this page I will, from time to time add bits n pieces that will inspire and enlighten those who visit. I think it appropriate that I start off with a dedication to some very special people whom without I could never have gone on this wonderful journey to explore a passion and to allow me to work with something I love.
My Grandfather - Christopher Maurice Leonard, affectionately known as Maurice - born in London UK, a compositor and foreman . A perfectionist in all he did and a self confessed workaholic. During the war years he worked for the Secret Service printing passports and documents that were needed to assist the resistance. He remains forever in my heart and by my side.
Mum - sadly my mum passed away from lung cancer in 2006 and left a gaping chasm in my life...she taught me that you should never give up - "what doesnt kill ya makes ya stronger!" and fancy dress is a much better way to party!...she was a lady that gave so much love to everyone.... Thanks Mum you make me who I am today.
I would challenge anyone brave enough to tell my staffy Moko she isnt' human! A 1 year old bullet train with lots of energy & a stack more love. Once she gets over her teenage years she will often be seen at the studio I am sure - look out cos she will lick you to death!
My two beautiful children continue to teach and inspire me every day about life..they show me that youth is not just for the young!
My Cheeky Monkey without whom this wouldn't be - if I am his diamond, then he is the sun that makes me sparkle!
it is our intention that as we grow to add to this section a list of wedding suppliers that we would use - therefore they would have the same high work ethic and attention to customer service and detail as we do. stay tuned....
